Spent a day off doing a machine knitting "taster course" - learnt how to do a weaving cast on, amongst others, and got to play with a machine almost all day. Also did my first ever picot hem. Bliss! They reckon I can do the OCN course without attending all the time - I'm not prepared to give up every Saturday for two years y'see! Plus it's not as if I can't work at home!
Bought some beautiful blue acrylic. Think it's about time I tackled that wedge striped jumper - must sew up the chenille one first though!
Did a quick trouser alteration for a work colleague last night, and finally sewed the buttons onto two toddler jumpers.
My addiction to anything crafty created with a pointy stick, a needle or a hook.....
