This is a close-up of the mohair cardigan. Isn't the wool fabby? It looks like a very dark khaki/grey in daylight. I think the wrong side looks just as good as the right side!
Well, I bit the bullet and frogged the first sleeve. Last night I did some more wool-winding, and I made the belt for the cardi. The standard machine struggled to cope with the slubby wool - the ribber bed kept shifting from side to side, despite being fully tightened down! The chunky machine handled it like a breeze. Just one more sleeve to complete, and then it's making-up time!
