Anybody see this skirt/poncho on the back of Interweave Crochet? I really want to make it (it's a free pattern), but I'm not sure where I'll get Den-M-Knit cotton from in the UK...
You'd have to line it, too, of course...
My addiction to anything crafty created with a pointy stick, a needle or a hook.....

Rowan do a denim look cotton - would that substitute? Gorgeous pattern...
Rowan does denim cotton yarn, 100m for 50g (which works out to around 2Nm) with a needle size suggestion of 4mm. It comes in four colours, and it tends to bleed when knitted... my bamboo needle tips were stained indigo!
I haven't gotten around to washing the samples (some knitted, some crocheted.) The label says it would shrink vertically but not horizontally after washing, we'll see to this later...
