My first attempt at lucetting (creating a braid with a lucet). Thanks to Julie for the pictures. The braid on the lucet (white with a red thread through) was my second attempt at that one, you cannot unpick partway through unfortunately.
My arm is still aching, as is my right hand. However, I have spent a lot of today cropping and folding drawings (over 72) so it could be down to that.
Interesting and ancient craft - I had a quick squint at Julie's book, and you can use lots of different strands/colours at once. Need to play some more!
