Quick update

On to the 9th flare of the skirt, and also starting to run out of bits for the afghan - it's looking really good, though! And it's a lot of fun - a big, yarny jigsaw.

I do have some more swatches, but they are waiting on my actually making the garment they were intended for, before I can "release" them to the blanket, and those projects will almost definitely be on hold now until Christmas. The blanket can continue for a while, though - there are a gazillion ends to be woven in, and some little bits of fill-in crochet where the edges aren't quite square.

Have been eyeing up the Gourmet Crochet website, she has some fantastic books! Something else to go on the "treat myself in January" list methinks.
