Yes, I know it's a reef knot now. I was looking at it sideways in the manual, where it kind of looks like a lark's head knot. Clearly I'm a bit of a dope!
Phil, thankyou for your kind offer, I did respond on Rav as other than leaving a random comment I couldn't figure out how to contact you.
Yesterday I did a "reset" on two craft projects where I had gone slightly wrong, so when I pick them up again all should be correct. Tonight I decided to try playing with the garter bar, I have a trim I need to turn, but I forgot the second step and ran out of time. Have checked out Diana Natter's excellent videos and I think I know where I went wrong.
