Lust

They sell this amazing device in the US - a "table for two". Some talented chap over there designed a table that will turn two single bed knitting machines into a v-bed patterning machine - with the help of a special coupler between the carriages. It produces reversible fabrics where a different pattern can be put on either side of the knitting. I really, really want one! That sort of functionality is not available to us domestic machine knitters.

Alas, to get one over here it's just shy of £900. I don't have the room for the stuff I've already got, let alone a frame that's probably at least 1m long, 70cm deep and high. I can hardly see the floor in the knitting room as it is, covered with books, magazines and yarn (yeah, I should probably work on that...).

Sigh. I guess I'll just have to dream on....

Where did you see this? All I can find on the internet is a bunch of forums where people are asking about the "table for two". Nobody seems to know much about it...

Check out www.wishknits.com. Alas, I am also the wrong side of the pond... :(

Thank you for the link!
I'm on the right side of the pond (Quebec, Canada), but at that price, I think I would rather upgrade my Passap Duomatic to a Passap E6000. :-)
