Battling on...

It's taken a while, but I am onto the foot of the High Country Spring socks from "Think outside the sox". The first attempt was frogged at 5" because I was using too big a needle; I've yet to learn P2tog SSP-style and in some places the patterning has been somewhat interpretive. Still, onwards and upwards... I quite fancy Sandy Moore's "In the peaceful forest" next. Well, this sock yarn won't knit up itself. 

Why I persist in starting new (difficult) projects when I've some easy ones on hook and needles, I'll never know...
