My first MK project to get underway is a sideways batwing top for a baby, knitted in snowflake yarn. My first test with this yarn showed that it snaps quite easily, so I have knitted it in with a 1ply acrylic, to give it a bit more body. Cotton was suggested, but I don't have enough white cotton and I wanted to get started.
The front and back were knitted quite easily last night. I tried putting a welt on the bottom and gave up after a few attempts - I think it will have to be knitted seperately and added on afterwards. I was trying to limit my making up - I hate making up!
My addiction to anything crafty created with a pointy stick, a needle or a hook.....
