WIPs...

The jumper for my niece L, with the offending long arm cut off. Will try and rescue it tonight methinks. Also the rosette thingy from my pattern-a-day calendar - it's kinda sweet, but a pom-pom would have been far easier!

More Lizard Ridge eye-candy...

The front and an arm for the white aran. Yes, I have spotted it's a man's pattern, but I don't care, I like the style and fit of the one I made for the Cog.

This arrived yesterday - I completely forgot that Dream Week participants get sent a cone of something, and they have a competition to make something with it using the knitting machine. Meant to take it to club last night but forgot - was hoping the girls (we had 14!) might give me some ideas! My first thought was of an evening bag - it's kinda scratchy so wouldn't do for a garment. Then I thought I could be off the wall and try Hallowig, but maybe go for a more afro design... mmm, I dunno!

Try plaiting with the "scratchy" yarn---it might work. You could use it for the black sparkly fluffy top I see on your wish list.

Not a bad idea, but I already have some yarn in mind for that top, plus it's only about 200g (although I could get more). Never tried plaiting with an eyelash yarn, that could be interesting! Hmmm....
